Discipleship Groups
Our aim as a church is for people to be disciples of Jesus. A small group is a great source of encouragement and enables us to share the bible together. Discipleship groups meet on a weekly basis which allows those who attend to create deeper relationship with others in the group.
Alongside sharing the Bible with one another, there is also an opportunity to pray. This is an essential aspect within our discipleships groups as it give you an opportunity to share what is on your heart.
Our discipleship groups are a place to study, explore Gods word and a place to grow as a disciple.
We have a variety of discipleship groups :
- Men's discipleship group
- Ladies discipleship group
- Mixed discipleship group
- Creative discipleship group
- Young Adult discipleship group
Our prayer walks are a new initiative at Spalding Baptist Church. The prayer walks take place on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of the month. These prayer walks enable us to use the different routes around the Spalding town to pray for those within our community.
Fellowship Walks
Our fellowship walks meet once a month and includes a lunch.
Theology Group - Deep Dive
Our theology group meets every Thursday evening and is an in depth journey into the Bible. This is implemented at degree level teaching ( level 4/5 ). It is an opportunity to use primary and secondary resources and to explore Old and New Testament languages.
Shared Fellowship Meals
This is an opportunity to ' bring and share ' food together as a fellowship.
