Children and Youth
Sunday Services
Our Sunday services start at 10.15am and we all meet together and enjoy multi generational worship.
Part way through the morning our children and youth go to their groups at ' Move It Time '.
Each group is divided into the following age groups.
Sparks - 0-6 Years
Ignite - 6 Years - 10 Years
Blaze - 10 - 14 Years
Inferno - 14 - 18 Years
All group leaders and helpers are fully DBS checked.
The younger groups are often seen enjoying a range of drama, dance, music, active games and craft whilst the older youth continue to enjoy snacks, silly games and discussion times.
At the end of the service there is a chance to enjoy drinks and a biscuit, a game of pool or table tennis. We look forward to seeing you.
Boys Brigade and Girls Brigade
Our Boys and Girls brigade meet on a Wednesday night during term time.
Joining Brigades allows you to:
Make friends
Have fun
Receive Christian teaching
Gain awards including Kings Badge
Learn new skills
Join in with activities at the church
What can you expect ?
Reception to Year 9
3.30pm - Homework, reading and games
4.30pm - Evening Meal
5.00pm - All aged messy craft
6.00pm - Badgework
7.00pm - Home time
Years 10 - 13
3.30pm - Homework, reading and games
4.30pm - Evening meal
5.00pm - Chillout time
6.00pm - Badgework
7.00pm - Worship wellbeing and reflection
8.00pm - Home time
All brigade leaders and volunteers are fully DBS checked.
Cost per child is £3.00 for the evening including and evening meal.
Partnerships with local schools
Our dedicated children and youth team enjoy good relationships with local schools. As well as assemblies, support with PHRSE and class visits to the church. We also deliver a programme at our church for year 6 children at Easter (Easter Cracked) and Christmas (Christmas Unwrapped)
