Text for 2008
‘Lord God! Nothing is too difficult for You!’ (Jeremiah 32:17)
This is our church text for 2008, and what a verse of Scripture it is. Where we can only see obstacles the Lord can see solutions; where we can only see mountains, the Lord sees molehills. As has been said –
‘Got any rivers you think are uncrossable?
Got any mountains you can’t tunnel through?
God specialises in things thought impossible.
He does the things others cannot do.’ (Oscar C. Eliason)
He is the God who calls us to trust and believe in Him through the Lord Jesus Christ. When we do, however great the problems may seem to us they can be handed over to Him. Then see Him work!
